George Muller, founder of the orphanage in Bristol, UK. "at what point of your spiritual maturity did you realize that Christ would be your sufficiency for every aspect of your life and work?
What figure from church history / present-day leader has most impacted your ministry & why?
Jeremiah Rife, youth pastor at Scott Memorial Baptist Church (at age 60). I worked as a janitor at the church and he treated me as a member of the ministry team at Scott as much as Dr. Tim LaHay, and he encouraged me to "quityourbellyaching" and do the right thing. It was years later, when after I was "sifted" because of my own resistance, that I relented and began to be obedient to the call of Christ in my life.
Favorite verse from the Bible?
Col. 1:9-29 This section of the Book of Colossians has been the compass of encouragement for my life, culminating in the last verse, which says, "Christ in you, the hope of glory"
